This established standard lines insurance carrier has assets exceeding $2 billion and partners with over 1500 agencies. This organization’s corporate values are to “go over and beyond” by providing peace of mind and long term security to their policyholders. As a result of the strong values and level of service, this carrier experienced written premiums increase of 10% in 2010. The client saw an opportunity to enter the Arizona marketplace and needed of a Territory Sales Manager to lead the efforts.

Business Objective:

The client’s goal was to hire an experienced Territory Manager with existing agency relationships in Arizona to sell the company’s Commercial and Personal Lines products. The professional selected would be the first employee hired for the state and directly responsible for the success or failure of the territory.


The Howard Group identified, attracted, and recruited qualified and interested Marketing and Sales professionals from other well respected Property and Casualty carriers.
